This five-week series is designed to provide the essentials needed to aid in the recovery from sexual (or, in fact, any) trauma.
Together, we will:
- Identify and practice ways to diffuse and eliminate triggers
- Learn the difference between shame and guilt (and how to free yourself from both!)

Dr. Lori Beth Bisbey has been treating survivors of sexual trauma (and PTSD) for 33 years. Her technique is grounded in the belief that you are not broken but simply lack skills. Participants who complete the series will learn essential skills and information such as what are the dorsal and ventral vagal systems, what work you will need to do with a professional and how to find that person, how to create anchor points, learn self-soothing practices and how to create effective scripts. There will also be discussion about cathartic methods of treatment including BDSM play – safety, when these methods are appropriate, and how to find safe, consensual practitioners. Work to reclaim your sexual pleasure, gain support from partners and help them reintegrate your pleasure.
